Great Outdoors 2024

Our 8 week Spring Semester will be sure to have your Littles learning, outside and making new friends!

April 16 - June 4   ||   Tuesdays from 10-1

For the Great Outdoors 2024 semester our Littles students will rotate activites and classes every 30 minutes with a 30 minute lunch break. Ending the day at 1 for them because we get it, the nap time is real!

We start each day with prayer and pledge for 10 mins and pray before we eat lunch.

We plan to break down our Pre-K classes by ages 3 and 4 years old to better accommodate attention spans and learning abilities.

Lunch class all ages will be combined all together with the addition of Mini's as well. For health and safety reasons we ask that you please provide your child's lunch. We also ask that you be responsible for any diaper changes/potty breaks for your child during classes.

German Class of '24
taught by Jeremiah Thomas

Guten Tag!

Introducing a second language to young kids has so many benefits. We will be learning some of the basics from greetings, colors, and numbers to maybe even a few fun songs. Pastor Jeremiah's first language was German, he also spent a year in Germany as a foreign exchange student.

Look forward to your Littles speaking German at home and teaching you what they've learned!

Nature Art and Crafts
taught by Valerie Rusin

A place for imagination and creativity! No wonder Art is one of our students favorite classes.

Each week we plan a unit study for our classes to collaborate together so our art class goes perfectly for our students to really grasp what they are learning. And of course there are also fine motor skills being used - cutting, glueing, painting, coloring.

Gardening/Cooking
taught by Julia Thomas

Who doesn't love to cook and grow things!

Your Littles will love this class where they can explore the life-cycle of plants by seeding, watering, and growing. They will also have a chance to learn some basics about kitchen appliances and utencils while following instructions.

We do accommodate for any food allergies in advance as long as noted in the application.

Science
taught by Kayla Malone

Science is fun!

In this class, your little will be exploring different aspects of science ranging from the law of gravity to insects to astrology. The lessons will involve experiments, activities to bring on a hands-on experience, and exploring the world around us.

Little Farmers
taught by Amanda Blank

In this class, we will be exploring different areas of gardening, raising wildlife, and basics of farming.

We will have many farm animals join us too!

Field Trips

Schools Out For Summer!

Over the summer we don't want to miss out one bit! So we have decided to have weekly meet up and play dates as well as some fun field trips.

This Winter we are excited to keep the ball rolling and will be adding field trips and sometimes discounted groups rates to explore and enjoy fun new adventures with all our friends.

If you are not currently enrolled but would like to meet us you can email us at co-op@thegospelny.com and we can send you our summer schedule.
